Batsford Arboretum

With a couple of days booked off from work I took a trip to Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds which has been on my Adventure list for a while and given the nice weather I thought now was the perfect time to go visit.

Accessibility at the arboretum is limited if you were in a normal wheelchair due to it being part of a hillside so the recommended route was the yellow one (see map below) but me being me I ended up on some of the red routes and even made it down to the lake. The yellow route is all paved and easy to navigate, the red routes are a mix of dirt/gravel paths and I'll be honest I did get a little stuck going up a gravely hill but a nice man came to the rescue and gave me a push.

It was a really nice day out and took me around 2 hours to explore start to finish and afterwards you can have a look around the garden centre or go to the cafe.
