Backstory
Being disabled on a budget has felt impossible at times but that said I've managed to find wheels that are perfect for me and have helped get me out and about more.
Trekinetic GTE
Bought third hand from Facebook Marketplace for a few pounds shy of £5,000, with another £1,500 spent getting it ready for adventures - new tyres, batteries and a charger - this is now my main way of getting around and makes the world a lot more accessible, it also saves my knees from aching which is a bonus!
Ti Lite Active
Found on Reddit for £450, I use this for days out where I know it's mostly flat and indoors.
It's my first manual chair so I'm easing myself in gently but it's a very good arm workout!
